MINDFULNESS AND CONSCIOUSNESS
Becoming aware of the NOW of your breathing, posture, mind, of sounds, suroundings. Bringing awareness into the moment - without going anywhere - being present - and only by being present will you have presence - when all your'e energy is relaxing into the moment you start waking up to the magic, the mystery in this moment. Opening up to another dimension you have to be able to absorb this for yourself. You have to be able to fill up to become an ocean of consciousness.
Our consciousness normally in day to day life is tuned into a very narrow wave length, this is what they call the alert problem solving state that's useful for us to survive in the hubub of the modern world. But there are many other kinds of consciousness. It's posible to retunethe reciever network of the brain in order to experience a much widerreality, normally invisible to our senses, that surounds us.
If you focus consciously and intentionally everything changes.
Real peace is found by undoing the ego, not covering it over.
'If you cannot bring it into your life it's a hobby (nothing wrong with hobbies) But when you transition from it being a spiritual pastime to a way of life you have to change the people, circumstances, livelihood, finances, resources, nutrition, books, music, cloths. Everything changes for this.(???) Most people aren't ready for this. Actual transformation is a radicle business.
There's a great tradition in the last few hundred years, especially in Europe and America, of people being satisfied with having a teacher or guru and saying ' Well thats the guy who does it for me' I don't want to do it so I surrogate it through him, he does my transformation for me.
